F300 bracelet 1190/192 resize

Hi, I was looking for help with my Omega watch because after it was given to me by my uncle I went to a local watch shop to resize the bracelet, and they said that it was impossible to remove links from the watch.
I wanted to know if the watch shop was right, and if it isn't, if I could remove the links myself to save time.

Are you trying to make it smaller or larger. If larger you can reposition the part of the bracelet that is within the clasp by 4 holes. If trying to make it smaller you have three positions to play with. Good luck.

There certainly seems to be a few removable links on the bracelet. Maybe try a different jewellery shop. Good luck.

Can you show us the end that is fitted to the clasp?

Removable links are pinned, you should be able to remove one more link.

I don't know if that's possible, because on the back side of the photo you attached, there aren't any holes.
The first photo is the back side of the photo you attached, and the others are the photos you asked for, both front and backside.
Those links don't seem removable.

Those links are supposed to be removable. I'm going to make a guess that they may have originally been screwed in place and at some point the screws were replaced by pins or perhaps spring-bars. A skilled watchmaker or jeweler with some patience should be able remove them.

I think it is possible that these joining links may be held in with spring bars.
If they are, you need to try and prise one spring bar out enough to release at one end.
They look similar to Time Computer links and that’s how it works with them.

I just dug out a 1210 bracelet which has the same construction as the 1190 and can confirm the removable links are attached with spring-bars.

Take it to someone who is competent at watch repair.
