Firing or banning someone just because they are Russian is bad policy. We should be trying to build bridges, not burn them.

However, in Mazepins case; son of an oligarch, which is the only reason he has the seat, good riddance.
Or with a little more info for those that do not know, Mazepin was not let go because he was Russian. He was let go as Hass no longer wants to be associated with his sponsor who pays for his ride (His Dad a Russian Oligarch with close ties to Putin who owns UralKali,) and he is not good enough to be part of the team unless he was funding a significant portion of the team.

I’m surprised it’s taken this long. It was an (and I really hesitate to use the word ‘fortunate’) opportunity to move away from the Mazepin’s malaise that was dragging Haas down.

I don't think people have any issues with Daniil Kvyat as he seemed like a decent guy with some actual driving skills unlike Mazespin. Petrov and Sirotkin were pretty forgettable.

It is nice to see Magnussen back in F1. The poor guy has talent but he always seems to be at the wrong team at the wrong time.

Obviously the logo is the mystery company behind the energy drink that shall not be named who totaly didn’t steal a small bike companies logo. How rich of them….

I’m glad I came across this thread - I had gone to sleep on F1 thinking there’s not much going on until the season starts very soon. Boy, was I wrong!
Good to see Magnussen back at Haas. Mazepin was always in Schumacher’s hair all 2021 season. And, really didn’t do anything —no driving skills.

well, it should be exciting to watch

and, I note that Season 4 will debut March 11…
