Did I just see a thing that Alpha have no drivers signed for next year?

I'm guessing you mean Alfa.....😉

Kimi / M. Schumacher Jnr would be a great pairing.
Here’s hoping.......

I posted this a couple of pages ago and I don't think there have been any changes...

Mercedes - 1 seat
Red Bull - 1
Alfa R - 2
HAAS - 2
Alpha T - 2
Aston M - 1

Those are seats "available".
While they are technically available some are obviously going to be filled by a current driver...Like Lewis and Lance.

Yea! Effing autocrotch.

Haas need to move the 2 crash test dummies, GRO pretty much ran LEC off track today in FP trying to race him to an apex. Haas has also made noises they would take FER junior drivers for FP's? Does that free up ALFA ( bows) to take the FER development drivers proper?
I thought BOT was signed up and Merc were all done for 21?

RB would be daft to move ALB on so quickly.

Another ho-hum podium, but there was a good bit of action in the rest of the field. I enjoyed it.

Ricciardo’s approach to his penalty was way more mature than Hamilton’s - ‘It’s my bad. I’ll just drive faster.’ 😁

In Hamilton’s defense he did ask his team if it was okay to practice start and they said yes go ahead. I’d be pissed too in that situation

I don’t think the Ricardo penalty and Lewis’s are even comparable. Ricardo made a mistake In the race and was penalised, Lewis exploited a grey area in the rules that even his team thought would be ok and which was before the race even began. The penalty then dictated his result In the race. Stupid situation and a fine would be a more appropriate penalty. It has clearly got Lewis shook up. Luckily the championship is not close, if this decision was affecting driver standings it would be a travesty.

I remain resolutely unimpressed by Hamilton. When I think of the treatment Senna had from Balestre my feeling that Hamilton's had a very easy ride throughout his career is reinforced. It should not be forgotten that Hamilton was featherbedded from the outset as Ron's political project and he didn't have to learn the ropes in back-of-grid F1 cars. Much is made of his start in karting, and I know about this because one of my sons raced in Cadet at Rye House, a little before Hamilton's time, and I saw at first hand quite a few Cadets and Juniors who, if given the same level of support and coaching, would probably be every bit as good today as Hamilton's metrics suggest he is. So there!

I wish I could believe he has changed, but he hasn’t. He has been saying crap like this for years.

Yes - this sort of meaningless PR-speak nonsense is indicative of the lack of personality. No class or style out of the car - that's what really alienates me. One has to admit that he can and does put in some excellent performances at the wheel, but being a great champion - or indeed one of those magical ones who despite their talent and application didn't achieve that status - involves much more than that.

He won 15 out of 20 races in his first F3 season, total domination, then was the GP2 champion the next year. He then had his first season in F1 and out performed the multi championship winning Alonso and almost took the F1 crown, but yeah anyone could probably do that with a bit of coaching. Er no they couldn’t.
