I really hope they can stick it out. HAAS. Not their drivers. I could honestly care less if they stay as I think they should have been gone a while ago.
But it is not looking good...
I think Haas will pull the plug if it carries on like this.
I think their model of buying large chunks of car from other teams did have merit and a degree of success, and may be emulated again as a cheaper way in to F1.
However , I think their model of hiring two loons to then drive them into all the track furniture, each other and everyone else was not a great success.

I don't know how Hulkenberg isn't on the grid, but these two guys are...I wouldn't mind seeing them go and replaced with some more competitive drivers. Even some young talent, like Russell if they can poach him from Williams.

They won’t poach Russell from Williams. Toto/Mercedes is his manager. They are keeping him on the back burner to eventually replace Valtteri.

Right, forgot Toto was in the managing game. He has Ocon as well and I'm not sure if he manages Norris. He did manage Bottas in past.

So yeah I'm here to officially announce my retirement from being a Ferrari fan. Lol.
I'd say that it has been a great run....but it hasn't.

It's a lifetime "curse" I'm afraid 😀
I have high hopes for Leclerc.. never had any for Vettel

I like KMag and his DGAF attitude when he drives. I guess if I were driving for Haas fighting for 16 or 17th place I'd be driving the same way.

I know Stroll is not short of cash, but very expensively(i am guessing) buying out Perez who brings in substantial sponsorship money, and is performing quite well, seems quite a bad plan.

Stroll would get the boot before Perez. Lawrence isn’t short money but he has a board to please before his son.

Checo has a new and long contract. To buy him out will cost several million. On top of that, Checo has several million in sponsors that would leave with him.

No board would approve that kind of hit when they have a number two driver that won’t cost a dime to lose. I think I would respect the team more if they cut lance. His dad is the only reason he’s on the grid. (Same with Latifi)

If Lawrence stroll is a big enough shareholder then it doesn't matter what his board wants. He can control outvote anyone.

The money that comes along with Perez may have strings attached.
