I recently subscribed to the F1 channel on Roku. Pretty cool watching the old races. They have every season back to 1981.

Apologies if that’s the racism people are commenting on, I’ve not visited any social media platforms to do with F1 etc.
My concern is the air around all this, anyone who speaks opposite to the crazy mobs atm and the media’s like “get him he’s a racist”....
I don’t want that in F1 and firmly believe that should be kept out of all sport.
Sport itself brings the world together without getting involved with any of the politics.
Like science, I’m a physicist I’ve travelled the world as such and I love the science community for its lack of boarders, lack of politics, within the pure research community.
Having said that actual racism has no place in F1 action should be taken if any such occurs.

Well, talking about science, the Nobel committee was not the best example and all over the world universities are famous for misuse of power and (sexual) harassment of professors on students and junior staff......

Such examples are the very reason I wrote “pure research community”.

I did edit after your post before I saw your post merely to reply more exact to my meaning.
Normal people couldn’t fathom how corrupt most science is that needs to have funding bodies.
Sorry, did not notice. I completely agree with you. Hierarchy and money dependence unfortunately feed bad behaviors.

Mercedes looking ominous just on FP1. Hopefully some other teams (looking at you Redbull since we all know Ferrari is lulz) can pick up the pace and makes the race interesting.

I just hope (probably wishfully) that F1 and the announcers keep politics out of it. But they probably won't, self flagellation seems to be required at the present. I just want to see the action and not be subjected to lectures. If Mercedes only has 12% women and 3% non-whites on their staff (according to their press release) that is on them, but I don't want to see them wringing their hands and asking for forgiveness. Do something about it and move on. To bring it all back to reality I see Aramco is one of the sponsors this year, that's rich, Saudi Arabia is one of the worst countries on human rights in the world. But at the end of the day F1 has to pay the bills for the circus.

Ferrari qualified P6 and P11 today. Will they be a midfield team this year?

Without their oil burn for the extra boost, it looks like it. Seb spent 5 years there and realized the place is a disaster Looks like Charles is going to waste the next 5 years there.

I hope Max can mix it up with Hamilton & Bottas tomorrow. It should be a good race, especially among the best of the rest.

I feel bad for Kimi starting in 19th place. It is amazing how much performance all of the Ferrari powered cars have lost this year.

They're probably toast for the rest of this year, but I'm they'll find a way to be competitive again.

*Spoiler Alert*

Effing chuffed to bits for NOR, that was a hell of a race, wheel to wheel with LEC, deserved the podium

Guenther Steiner on the other hand has probably run out of swear words.
