Could you guys help me out with your expert eyes? I’m wondering if this dial hand combination is legit for a cal 30 t2. I’m not sure there was a pontife hand version with this dial. Appreciate your help.
Aside from what’s already been said -The hands and dial are completely different styles and time periods. Dial is 1950s. Hands 1930s.
Thanks for all the input. I really appreciate this community and its member’s good intent and support!
Maybe I can trouble you guys with another? This seems to be quite genuine to me and I love the Breguet numerals. It is said to be a cal 344 frim 1952?
you really can't figure by yourself out, that how the "omega" is written looks more than suspicious...??!
Still looks like a redial/ relume to me. "Swiss made" lettering and spacing, some minute track spacing, some of the hashmarks in the seconds subdial
Yeah, there are some alignment issues and obviously lume-dot problems, but I'm still hung up on the sub-dial. I just can't remember seeing one like that. But there are some real experts that have seen everything, and hopefully they will give feedback soon. Unfortunately, it's usually not a great idea to double-up with more than one question in the same thread. Some people look once, and then they're done. So in the future, if you have a new question, start a new thread. But don't overdo it.
I'm not as expert as some but I've been looking at Omega watches for decades and I've not seen that type of subdial either. Tom
