I will be purchasing my first OMEGA in a few days - I am a VERY old, recovering former TAG & Rolex wearer. I wanted to thank everyone here for your informative posts and comments on other posts; I have learned a LOT from all of you about OMEGA watches!
This is my first post, and likely won’t be my last as I join other OMEGA wearers, soon.
Again, thanks so much for allowing me to learn through lurking here!

We need lurking learners who are willing to participate and become engaged learners.

Welcome to you! Glad you joined!

Bet you aren't as "very old" as some members here, probably to include yours truly.

We won't believe you are a wearer though until you post that first wrist shot in the WRUW thread, heh!

I agree! Hopefully, I can post a photo or two within a couple days - I hope to wear it out of the jewelers in about 48 hours…fingers crossed!

Nice, getting your first Omega is always exciting. With being a former Tag/Rolex wearer, thinking probably have the diver and dress watch end covered, so I will guess a Speedmaster.

No matter what you choose, it's going to be great!

Well, the TAG and the Submariner Date were YEARS ago - sadly, I only dive occasionally, now…a dear friend (one of the safest divers I know) was severely bent, after that event, I greatly reduced my dive frequency and time down. I have small wrists and am enamored with the Summer Blue (“anniversary edition”) Seamaster; I’ll see what I walk out with in a day or two, but right now, I am heavily leaning toward the Summer Blue Seamaster! Whether it’s this one, the black/black or traditional blue/blue steel on steel, it will be a daily wearer (office and recreational). A Speedy far exceeds my budget LOL

You are among a great group of enablers here. Warning, Omegas are addictive.
