Hey, I won't deny that. It reminds me of this one I own. Perhaps I should put some effort in this project watch, after all. The movement is total loss (rust fest).
They do have similar dials and hand sets. I like that case, those lugs are gorgeous. I'd definitely put the effort into making it a wearable part of my week.

What a stunning dial!

For sure. I would swap it for a no date in a heartbeat. The same goes for that chronometer I suspect you meant, by the way! If only it had that fourth arrowhead ...
That's the one. Very, very nice. I'm more of a «date window yes please» person, and even more so when said window has no or only a little chrome around it, so if you ever decide you can't bear those unsymmetric dials with vulgar date holes in them anymore... 😁

BTW, you wouldn't happen to have a pic with both the Kontiki 130T and the Chronothingy in it?

Instructions unclear. Took pic with the chronothingy and all of my Kontikis instead.

What an image, what a collection! 🍿Congrats!
Thanks a lot for this. It's the first time I've seen both the 130TT and the 130T in one picture, as well as the Chronometre. I'm amazed that the 130TT doesn't look that much, uh, fatter than the 130T, and the Chronometre case is simply stunning.
Which one is your favourite, if I may ask?

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!
I've had a crush on Eterna as a brand for years now, but all of these remarkably were acquired within roughly the last year. I'll snap some further comparison pics in the future, where the watches and their proportions are better in focus.

Picking a favorite is a hard ask, for they each have their own strong points. The Kontiki RoyalQuartz however is the crown on my collection. You can just tell while holding and wearing it the amount of effort and prestige that went into it. It is a true high end watch and its quality is unrivaled within my collection - nothing else comes close. It's the last watch I'd ever sell.

Kontiki no. 7 has arrived (the scratches are in the glass). I now own 13 Eternas 😁
I am considering to let a few go, though.

New arrival: fat (maybe muscular would be more fitting) lady Kontiki 130TT.

Now I finally can make the size comparison between Kontikis – the Eterna-Matic 130T is most definitely the prettiest of the bunch, IMHO: svelte with lovely curves, and with the endearingly 60s futurist Matic logo. (Now if only its case was as sharp as those from @Mafkees)

and also Certina DS – something I amazingly have failed to find, despite Google.

This arrived a few weeks ago... Running quite well, need to change the crystal.

Very sharp lugs, dial has some scratches in the center but not too visible once on wrist.

The overall presence is gorgeous

This would have been such a great watch without the day date function and with a handwound movement.
