So I have always thought this watch was a pin lever. Probably due to the missing crystal and the day/date at 6 o'clock. It is also quite similar to the Neuchâtel Tournau EB 8800 that I have apart.

I went through a phase where I was collecting automatics. Even got the big coffee table book on them, which I still have.

Looks like this might be a real watch after all. Balance is broken. I can also never figure out why the watches are missing the case screws clamps and retaining rings? Somewhere there must be someone who has way to many clamps and rings but no balance bridges.

Not to mention the ridiculous looking crown.

Know what you mean, a lot of the watches I collect are bought in faulty condition and often it looks like a Baboon has already checked it out first with missing screws and damaged screw heads and often as not the wrong case for the movement and silly crowns.

I think someone used this collection as a source for case clamps. What happened to all the case clamps and movement rings. Crowns I have. Balance bridges I have. But no case clamps. Then there are all the stems and staffs. Stems and staffs for everything but the one that is needed.
I think I will call this the 'Baboon' watch. I like to nickname my watches.
