I sold mine on ebay, with the same date issue but in better cosmetic condition and with original shark skin strap, two years ago for 470 euro.

In my opinion, 500 USD for your watch, is a reasonable valuation

It might do?

I think if you can get this for under $500 you've got a bargain... they aren't that common... and those that come up for sale are in this condition of worse and $500-$800 or vgc/mint and $1500+.

Really depends if the seller is urgently trying to offload, or will wait until you can talk to STS.
Getting some more pictures from the seller. Hope that the scratch is in the crystal? Not in the dial? . BTW is it mineral or sapphire crystal in this?

I'm not sure to be honest.

@Tom Dick has owned/owns a few so he might know.

I'm a big fan of how these look... not sure I'd wear it if I had one, which is one on the main reasons I've not taken the plunge yet!

Got a couple of these...one working, one not, both with a shot date wheel, well rather it "sticks" sometimes. There are very few people who work on them and they can be "difficult" so they may get damaged in the process. STS would be the place to go but it's going to cost you. I'm not sure it's worth it, there are still some 1301s in very good shape out there, they just require a bit of patience.

An interesting bit of trivia is that the mineral glass is the same as on the 1310 TV Connie, just the other way around ;-)

Haven't heard anything from the seller that has it? Thought he wanted to sell? I offered him $350 . It needs a new crystal and gasket? Will the gasket to the 1310 Connie works also? And he says the watch i going way to fast . So it would probably cost a lot ? Better to stay off?

It's sounding like the cost of putting it right, could well outstrip the cost of finding a mint condition, fully working example...

Like this one for example: https://www.chrono24.co.uk/omega/constellation-electroquarz-f8192hz-8192-hz--id3284671.htm

That looking good . But i think i will wait with buying a Electroquartz . Sometimes the fun is to repair the old watches?

Oh for sure. I just think you might have found something that's beyond economical, or even practical repair...

Sometimes with hunting down parts for 100+ years old Pocket Watches, the thrill of the hunt can turn into the unrelenting tedium of the hunt!

Some pictures of the watch . It's looking good . Sorry for the thumbprint on the crystal . There is some green stuff on the screws? Not sure what that is? And as usual the gasket was gooey like rubbergum .

Rare and under appreciated watches, calibre 1300 and the first swiss quartz production watch, the same movement used in the original IWC Da vinici, the first Rolex Oysterquartz, Patek Quartz, Rado Quartz, the first Jaeger master quartz etc etc.

Useful article here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega_Electroquartz

The original screw all go that green over age, its a tell tale sign of an unmolested watch. Colin is right, no where near the value of a stardust but a good NOS example is £1000 - £1500 now, a good non serviced/ non NOS example up to £1000. Plenty of people such as keithT on TZ who can service them inexpensively so long as they are working

If it is running fast it is simply double stepping, it just needs a service, I have spare circuits for these if thats the issue so snag it if you can.

Hope this helps

Cheers Tom

Thanks for the tip Tom . Will try to contact keith T. The watch is working nice but the date isn't working. So it would probably need a new date ring? If i can track that down?

This is how the watch turned out after a new date disc and new crystal and gasket . Became a really nice watch. The date disc didn't need to be changed but when i was in there i did it anyway. I cleaned up all the parts that drives the date. In the near future i will send it for a service.

Beautiful watch, rogart. I'd like one of those someday.
