路My 1971 Air King Date. I won it in 1971, as a prize in a Rolex sales contest. It came to me direct from Rolex in its vinyl case with the hang tag. The price in 1971? ....................... $215.00 (Cdn.) the bracelet is not genuine Rolex. My kid wrecked it when he wore the watch for less than one year.

I have owned 2 of these beautiful references, 18K with orange enamel dial and 9K. Sadly neither is with me now.

Say, I have noticed at least a couple above with refinished dials, horribile dictu!
Yup, mine is a redial, like many old rolexes of the period. I don't think it looks horrible and, since it's not for sale ever, it doesn't bother me a bit.
