Nothing funky. That's a retaining ring on the back because it also holds the strap on. Never seen what's underneath. 馃榿

There's nothing special underneath. The retaining ring just screws round a normal thread around the solid case. You can often do it with your fingers, or a caseback ball.

There is a special tool (Tool 107) but it's not essential.

Watch looks nice, but there's no way a Dynamic is an "investment piece" like the ad says 馃檮.

Good thick case though - looks a decent example 馃憤

Also, be aware that's the smaller ladies size in the ad, I think they were trying to hint at by saying (lds). After you've looked at a few ads, you'll be able to tell, as the smaller hands have stubbier proportions. The men's cases are 41mm wide by 36.5, the ladies models are about 30 by 26. I was just checking some other ads to get the ladies' dimensions and someone had a ladies version pictured, but size was listed as 41 in error, so read carefully.

I thought the tool 107 is referring to The tool that takes the crystal off, as these are front loaders

There is no case back - the movement has to come out the front

Tool 107 refers to the tool you need to lift the crystal in order to remove the movement. The women's version requires Tool 102.

Dynamics tend to be less molested because the movement is harder to access. You have to remove the crystal, remove the stem, then rotate the dial about 30 degrees before the movement will drop out of the case. Omega helpfully notched the dials in the right spot, small enough for a toothpick to do the job.

Tool 107 is for the full sized mens watch, not the ladies, me thinks

The engraving is usually pretty light and hard to capture in pictures when you're trying to, let alone if you don't know it's there.
