So It'll be for the chop I think.
A CK2279-2, from around 1940, I think the dial is original, I can see SWISS at the bottom, anyone know better?
Movement is a 27CHRO, precursor to the cal 321 so you could say this was the first Speedmaster

Ah! The Relaxmaster!
Qualified For All Manned Desk Missions.
Funny how "SWISS" on the dial looks more like "WIS."
Beautiful watch. How many Private Messages have you received? 馃榾

There's a phrase to be coined using that - "you can't have SWISS MADE without the WIS" or something like that.

I had a JLC that was SWISS MAD, and if you saw the neglected condition of it before it went to Le Sentier you'd understand why it was pissed off.

I changed the title as the purpose of this post was to get expert opinions on it.
Please comment if you have knowledge of these old chrono dials.

Original dial in nice shape. Happen to have something very similar:

I'm surprised I don't see it so I'm calling dibs, in case it comes up for sale.

What a peach, thanks for posting.
Is the crown marked?
Do you think my crown or yours is original?
Only other difference I can see is the chrono hand, yours looks better imo.
