Opinions on Originality, Condition of 166.002?

Would any OF members be willing to share their opinions on the originality and condition of this 166.002? It's clearly had too many close encounters with a polishing wheel, but that alone may not be a deal breaker for me. The movement seems to be quite clean, possibly due to a recent service. My biggest questions are the dial. The E in OMEGA isn't the same height as the other letters, and the framing around the date window seems off. But I do note that both of those characteristics seem present in other examples, such as in this thread.

The dial of this Speedmaster companion looks good to me, at least I saw this E in other examples of the white dial variant. I do not know if the crown is original and will let others chime in about it.
