I recently bought the vintage black, i've noticed that some people don't like it because of the "fake vintage" design. What's your opinion?

interesting, did you compare with the PitchBlack model ? that one might be a bit more subdued thanks to the fauxtina. I like the Matt dial compared to the classic DOSTM.
does it wear way bigger than a 42 speedy ?
congrats for the purchase, enjoy in good health.

I say....who cares what others say.....do you like the timepiece?

Obviously you bought it for a reason...but at certain times that certain watch you loved before goes out of favor....if so, just flip it and get something you like....

‘Fake vintage’ design? What does that even mean? It’s made from ceramic…very modern and ‘ahead of the herd’ by quite a few years. If they are talking about the beige instead of white…well, they clearly don’t know what they are talking about. It looks 👍 You really shouldn’t care what other people say about such things.

I think it needs the strap front and centre to get the full effect. Also would be nice to see a movement shot.

I really like the look! I have seen this in person and think it is very sharp looking. I don't get too caught up on the "faux patina" and simply look at the overall picture and if I like the integration of the entire piece.

"Fake vintage" is a silly criticism. I prefer the more recent ones but this one is also quite smashing. Ceramic is a great material for keeping a watch looking new too. Enjoy it!

I like it! If it's like my Apollo 8 DSOTM, pictures don't do it justice!!

Thank you very much! I did not compare it to the pitch black irl, but i reaaally like the look. Only problem is that i also lile the new seamaster 300 black black a LOT. and i feel like too many all black watches defeats the purpose of just having one... but honestly, it doesn't wear muuuch bigger than a regular speedy, at least in my opinion

I'm not quite sure what they refer to ... i think the aged look but without the actual age? Either way, i like the modern plus vintage look elements. And thanks!

Would you post a shot with the strap? I think it looks best with the strap in view - also would be nice to see the movement and strap view for the full effect of the watch.

I think it looks good and love the lumed bezel. If it were mine I think I'd try to pair it with a brown racing strap that matches the brown of the indices/writing.
