·I recently bought the vintage black, i've noticed that some people don't like it because of the "fake vintage" design. What's your opinion?
I personally don’t think that is the same as faux-tina, because the same tan color is used for the indices, hands, lettering, bezel, AND date wheel. If they wanted to imitate the lume for a vintage watch, it would have just been the lume that was that color.
I see this as more of a color choice, not trying to imitate a vintage watch. I think it is striking.
But I also own a Seamaster 300 MC which kinda started the “faux-tina” trend and I love the way it looks, so I may be a little biased. 😉
