Hi Everyone, brand spanking new member here!

Have really loved reading various threads on the forums. I currently own a Seamaster Planet Ocean & Omega Constellation. Looking at getting into vintage Omegas as i really love the look and history of them. I have been doing my research but i honestly don't have enough knowledge or experience to pull the pin on my first purchase. Here in Australia, we aren't exposed to the wonderful world of vintage watches etc, so would like the opinions on a few watches i have been looking at.

Long story short, a friend of mine introduced me to someone who said they have 30+ vintage omegas. He said that his dad and friend owned a watch repair store in Malaysia back in the 80s, and they were contracted to provide repair/services during the 50s-60s to the British Army. When the British left, they left behind large stock and parts etc. He claims that parts should all be authentic and they may be put together hence extra seconds hands etc. Here are various photos of part of his collection.

I would like to know if they are indeed authentic, if they are considered good and desirability of these timepieces if they are original. Thank you for your time and i look forward to hearing back 馃榾
If you loved reading the threads, I would try rereading the title of this one, paying particular attention to the "Not for questions" part.

Mate I realise that.

First time user of the forum and was not sure if I should create a new thread or not. But thread has been deleted. Thanks for your time and effort for letting me to know.

I almost get burned by this fake gold pie pan last December

I am on the hunt for a pie pan. Could you help me learn the red flags on this piece? As far as I can tell:

1. the font on the dial doesn't look right
2. t swiss t with no lume
3. the border of the date window looks too thick and not faceted
4. wrong crown
5. the constellation medallion on the caseback looks very blurry
