    Hi All,

Nice to meet everyone *waves* and thanks mods for the quick approval.

Got handed this omega from a relative for a birthday recently - but cannot seem to find any reference online.

Any idea if this is a total fake?

Quite genuine. Seamaster Automatic. Possibly a caliber 751 and maybe from the mid 1980s.

The Omega secrets are inscribed on the inside of the caseback, which has to be removed by appropriately skilled/equiped persons.

Thanks for the approval to join the group. Just very recently got interested in vintage omegas. Found a post that's selling one but I'm not sure of the authenticity. Will be meeting the seller soon and would like to get some insights.
    Is it a fake?

Maybe we should revoke your approval to join the group for posting in the wrong place.

Apologies, because the previous post was a similar inquiry, I thought it was the correct thread.
