Well it seems that we have been misled all along.

I notified the seller:

A common Chinese fake worth about $1.00.

Hardly worth your reputation.

They replied

lol lol
this is a original one
not chip chinese stuff
get real

I responded

"Omega" brand in 1882? It wasn't used until 1903.
Modern font for the dial script?
Omega "happy feet" symbol not used until 1970s?
where is Swit zerland?
Cheap Chinese movement not marked on the main plate with the Omega mark?
At least if you're going to sell garbage like this then just describe it properly.

And the answer has cleared all of my doubts, and I thought it was a fake. We all learn something new every day. 馃檮

the fake ball omega watches on sale in here is the pocket ones
you don't see on sale the size of my omega
i done a search online was sold in auction rooms in UK and USA
this ball watch was on production between 1882/ 1908 and they only made under 200
I had already 2 offers from 2 dealers from london around 拢300.00
thank you very much for your time

Hi everyone! this is my first post here. After I bought my wife an Omega for her birthday I became somewhat obssesed with watches and starting to look for some for myself. Please can you take a look and tell me if this looks legit:

Welcome. Now that the niceties are out of the way, read the title of this thread, paying close attention to the 3 words in parentheses.

This should probably be its own thread.
You're trying to state a point that I'm not really getting.

I appreciate you trying to provide everyone a heads up so the best way is to start a thread on it in the vintage section, for maximum exposure. I'm sure there will be members who aren't sure it's a redial. The one thing we can agree on is that it doesn't really belong in this thread.

Reported and now removed.

Woah! Thank you! I've been reporting for days! It only took you a couple of minutes! How did you make that happen so fast?

Hey, just found this one on the market and was wondering if it's a fake or a real vintage omega. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

Do you read English?

Perhaps not, since the title of this thread clearly says NOT FOR QUESTIONS.
