Well it seems that we have been misled all along. I notified the seller: A common Chinese fake worth about $1.00. https://omegaforums.net/threads/don...re-not-for-questions.6235/page-40#post-687752 Hardly worth your reputation. They replied lol lol this is a original one not chip chinese stuff get real I responded "Omega" brand in 1882? It wasn't used until 1903. Modern font for the dial script? Omega "happy feet" symbol not used until 1970s? where is Swit zerland? Cheap Chinese movement not marked on the main plate with the Omega mark? At least if you're going to sell garbage like this then just describe it properly. And the answer has cleared all of my doubts, and I thought it was a fake. We all learn something new every day. the fake ball omega watches on sale in here is the pocket ones you don't see on sale the size of my omega i done a search online was sold in auction rooms in UK and USA this ball watch was on production between 1882/ 1908 and they only made under 200 I had already 2 offers from 2 dealers from london around £300.00 thank you very much for your time
Hi everyone! this is my first post here. After I bought my wife an Omega for her birthday I became somewhat obssesed with watches and starting to look for some for myself. Please can you take a look and tell me if this looks legit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/112363905510Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Many thanks
Welcome. Now that the niceties are out of the way, read the title of this thread, paying close attention to the 3 words in parentheses.
Nice fellow. I would have taken the offer from the London dealer... I reported him, hope others reading this does too.
UPDATE: after writing the seller, he wrote back that another one was for sale with 18 bids. So naturally, I reported that one too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMEGA-3-C...250039?hash=item2381a9e377:g:~yIAAOSwpkFY5UPOPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Save someone their money, please...
I know it's for fakes only but this is a redial and yet the seller stated it's original and unrestored. Just beware https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162467922584Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I appreciate you trying to provide everyone a heads up so the best way is to start a thread on it in the vintage section, for maximum exposure. I'm sure there will be members who aren't sure it's a redial. The one thing we can agree on is that it doesn't really belong in this thread.

Woah! Thank you! I've been reporting for days! It only took you a couple of minutes! How did you make that happen so fast?
Hey, just found this one on the market and was wondering if it's a fake or a real vintage omega. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!
Hi, I'm going to buy this watch in a auction sale, do you think it's a fake ? Thanks you for your answer
I'm truly surprised at the idiocy of people who post in this thread Replay for the ignorant or uneducated or just plain too damn lazy to bother reading..
