    apologies for jumping on the bandwagon but can anyone comment on this one being real or not?
    took a punt on ebay and want to know if it worth getting it fixed up.

    Marked as Omega Seamaster Antimagnetic
    no serials!
    nothing on inside of case back
    faded omega triangle and LOOKS like 750 (can see the 50) on case back
    no omega name or logo on movement
    "17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS" stamped on movement
    crown missing

    What model is it supposed to be ? looks to be modern dial and hands

    It is some wierd eBay listing....doesn't actually claim it is an Omega in the description which doesn't exactly give me a lot of confidence either, was just trying to learn more about fakes and Frankenwatch and what specifically looked suspect.

    The dial looks wrong. It is a manual movement but the sub dials are too far apart

    I assumed so....sent him a note and he claimed to be unsure despite claiming to have owned it for a long time.

    Always look at what else a eBay seller is selling, this gives you a idea of what to expect.

    I think that is very good advice. I am more curious what specific issues you all see with the dial etc, the price was clearly to good to be true and if it was the real deal the auction listing would have said so.

    Google Speedmaster Professional and compare yourself. Look particularly at the sub-dial layout
