I don't believe there are any DON replica bezels on the market. I would love for watchyouwant or anyone else to prove me wrong.

no, will not disclose that. these informations include carefully nursed contacts over decades. you have to do your own homework. I have nothing to prove. we are not in court here. this is a friendly bunch of collectors on the internet. if you would know the full extend of faked items for vintage watches, you`d need many beers tonight...... Vietnam and China is learning fast; how difficult with todays printing techniques do you think it is, to copy 1:1 a DON bezel insert? and we talk about the inserts only; the bezel is always genuine omega. it is not even a TM item; there is no omega sign on the old bezels....kind regards. achim

Thanks watchyouwant. I guess my argument becomes a little unravelled regarding clearly marked aftermarket bezels if you begin to talk about fake bezel inserts in genuine Omega bezels!

My previous argument centred around the bezel / bezel insert as a unit which could be marked in a visible area ( albeit from the side / under the watch - without taking the watch apart ). I accept totally that if we are talking about bezel inserts alone then any deception clearly is aesthetic and financial and I fully acknowledge the strongly held views of forum members.

It is not hard at all and I have done it myself with the local printer as an experiment. My statement was I do not think they are on the open market. I have never seen what I suspect to be brand new DON inserts on ebay or any of the forums. just my opinion.
