·Hi experts! Somehow came across an article talking about vintage speedys and it made me remember that I'd forgotten (lol) the details on mine... so I'm just refreshing. When I bought it, was looking for one as old as me, so got this one which is, from what I understand, also born in 1970. Believe it's a 145.069.22
Somehow I ended up in a rabbit hole about bezels, and that's where I hit a puzzle. From the articles I've found, it seems that the early versions had a "dot lower right 70, tall tachymetre text with a accent over first E, and a dot over 90", then they were changed to "dot beside the 70, short tachymetre text with no accent, dot beside 90"
So, when I look at mine... it has dot lower right 70, tall tachymetre text, and dot over 90...however... there is NO ACCENT over the E... (unless the accent somehow wore off, while the rest of the text didn't?)
Not really sure if that's odd, or not. Figured I'd check in with the pros.... Thoughts? (pic attached)
