DON Bezel listed on eBay - real or fake?

Hi Guys, I am searching for a DON Bezel for my transitional and came across this one on eBay. I noticed that there was an earlier thread questioning this seller's authenticity and wanted to get opinions here to the thoughts on authenticity of this bezel. I appreciate any advice you could give.

I saw that thread too, and I admit some of those photos were pretty questionable. This one looks pretty solid to me, the number fonts all look the same, the writing looks correct, etc. Maybe someone else will come along with a magnifying glass and point something out, but my opinion is that it looks good. Steep price to pay for a bezel, but I guess that's where we're at these days.

The font looks a little off doesnt it? Mine all look thinner in regards to 90

I think the bezel is fine. I picked this up recently from a US seller. Both seem to match up fine

Hmm i think the 90 is more to the right of the edge and more round no?

If you were going to fake a DON... Why not go all out and do a base 1000...

This bezel is legit, looks good to me. Looking at a side by side comparison of mine it matches up.

That one really seemed sketchy reading that thread. Again, I don't physically own one to compare it to, but there were a lot of holes in that story.

My DON bezel isn't in near as good of shape but I like it showing its age. Anyway, the bezel in question is on the left and mine on the right. Only showing the left side for comparison as someone stated the 7's were off. All the dots are exactly in place but anytime a pristine one comes up I'm sure we will always be skeptical. It's all too easy to replicate these.

It's the seller that is sketchy, where does he all
Of a sudden start finding these RARE bezels and hands in perfect condition? I wouldn't buy from him.

Looking back on that bezel, it probably was legit. The seller had previously irritated everyone by selling steel
Reductions of 2915-1 bezels and black base 1000 INSERTS (Omega has never sold inserts btw). When he later came to market with this base 1000, everyone was leary. He had some old dials as well.
