Can someone tell me if this watch looks correct? Considering buying for my girlfriend but don’t want to buy something that isn’t correct if I’m going to spend $1k

I don't see anything wrong with it, Omega 511.0404. $1000 is quite a bit overpriced, last two ebay sales were ~$550 and $800 for one of these in 'near mint' condition.

Quite a few watchmaker marks inside the case, which always makes me afraid, but the movement looks well taken care of. Crown doesn't look like the right one perhaps, but I don't know enough to say definitively.

The case is very badly damaged. I wouldn't buy it, but especially not as a gift.

All genuine but very tired and worn. 20 micron gold plate showing wear through as Dan noted.
And if that is USD$1,000 the price is exorbitant for what it is.

Even if this watch did not already have the obvious wear through to base metal on the corners, investing in a gold plated watch of that period is not a good gift option if your lady will be wearing it all the time. The plating is only 20 microns thick (.02 of a mm) and will wear through fairly quickly. $1000 is a ridiculous price.

Earlier vintage watches with gold capping, which is 200 microns, last for many years.
