Does this Omega Speedmaster look authentic? Need help verifying.

Hi everyone,

I’m considering purchasing an Omega Speedmaster that belonged to a deceased family member, but I’m having trouble verifying its authenticity. I can’t find any examples online with the same day indicator on the dial, and I’m hoping some of the experts here can help me out.

The watch has the “Broad Arrow” indication on the back, and I’ve attached pictures of the front and back for reference.

Does the dial design and day indicator match known Speedmaster models?

Are there any red flags in the details or engravings?

Any advice on what to look for to confirm its authenticity?

I’d really appreciate any insights or guidance you can offer. Thanks in advance!

There's this thing called Google, key in 'Broad Arrow' + 'Speedmaster' and you will find everything this isn't.

I knew this would be a fake by the time I’d read the first line of the second paragraph.

Definite fake.

😉

It set alarm bells ringing but there is the genuine Speedmaster day date and the ‘holy grail’. As soon as I saw ‘day indicator’ coupled with ‘broad arrow’ on caseback, then I knew we had a winner!!
