Does the 39.5mm adjustable PO clasp fit a Speedmaster?

Hi all, I'm trying to find out if the current 39.5mm Planet Ocean (215.30.40.20.01.001) clasp (STZ004666) will actually fit straight directly onto the current Speedmaster Professional with the screw bracelet (311.30.42.30.01.005) without having to buy any extra saddle/connecting links to make it fit?

I've seen people online put the other type of clasp (117STZ001154) that was made for the bigger Planet Ocean/Seamaster/Speedmaster MK.II onto a Speedmaster Professional but that type requires two saddle/connecting links to make it fit.

So will the newer STZ004666 just simply fit as-is to the current bracelet?

There's practically no information out there on this and nobody has a proper answer.

Hi all, I've been researching on how to fit a micro-adjustable clasp onto the current 311.005 screw bracelet Speedmaster the last few days. As far as I can tell there's currently 3 micro-adjustable clasps that exist;

117STZ001154 (designed for full size SMPc and PO)
117STZ001159 (V2. same as above + dive extension)
STZ004666 (made for the mid size/39.5mm PO)

The top two have 5 adjustments of 2mm each and the bottom one has 2 adjustments of 2mm each.

Do any of these clasps actually fit straight onto a Speedmaster professional with the screw bracelet without having to buy any extra saddle links/connecting links to make it fit?

I've spent the entire morning phoning service centres, AD's and OB but all of them are either refusing to sell me the clasp because it wasn't made for a Speedmaster, or simply telling me it won't fit...They "think".

I've seen people online put all three of these onto Speedmaster's but most seem to be attached to the old pin and tube type bracelet and required two extra connecting links.

So will any just simply fit as-is to the current bracelet?

Thank you, that confirms the 117STZ001154 one can't connect without two extra attachment links being added, now I just need to find out about the STZ004666 which is much smaller and has a different shape with about half as much adjustment.

Edit - just had a message from someone that knows loads about clasps and said that regardless of micro-adjustable clasp type and if the bracelet is using screws or pins, every single clasp needs two attaching links to be purchased so you can actually fit it on a Speedmaster.

I just got off the phone to an AD and they looked up the 117STZ004666 bracelet in their system. They told me it won't fit a Speedmaster Professional (because it needs those attaching links I guess) but they did interestingly tell me it "officially" (as a replacement part) fits both the 39.5mm Planet Ocean and the Moonphase Speedmaster...Which I'm assuming is the recent 2016/2017 Master chronometer chronograph moonphase model which has a steel bracelet vairient and adjustable clasp so it's probably using the 117STZ004666 too but has the attaching links already fitted onto the bracelet.

The 1154 clasp will fit. You need the attachment links from the 42mm PO bracelet.

Ps- all of the clasps fit the same. Any watch that can fit the SMP (212), 300MC (233), or PO (232) clasps have direct bolt-on with the 1154 and 4666.
