Do you still have the first watch you bought as a collector?

I inherited my father’s small collection when he passed away 48 years ago. But the first watch I actually purchased about 45 years ago, I still have. This is an Illinois 18-size, key wind, key set model 1 in a coin silver hunter case. When I bought it, it needed work. There was a tooth out of the cannon pinion, the mainspring was tired, and it needed cleaning. The day I bought it, I brought it home, fabricated a cannon pinion, fitted a mainspring, and cleaned it. By 2:30 AM, I had it done. I never wear it, but it runs beautifully on the odd occasion that I wind it. Not a great picture because I am having difficulty uploading images from my photo files.
