Do Mismatched Dial Fonts Mean a Redial? Omega 145.016

Hi All,

I read a few posts on here that seem to suggest that mismatched fonts on a dial means that it's been repainted? Is that always the case?

I only as I've still a multiple 145.016's, where the 3s don't match on the sub-dials, but I've seen other watches with the same reference where they do.

Sorry but I'm still learning!

Mismatched fonts might mean fonts from different eras on the same dial.

Mismatched fonts without any other contexts does not mean a redial. There’s simply far too little information there.

In the vast majority of cases print quality, thickness, minute marker alignment etc can easily identify a redial. For better quality redials, incorrect fonts, serifs etc are often used.

If you’re unsure, post pictures to get an answer.
