    Hey guys,

I've been looking at this chronostop. I'm guessing it's a ref ST145.007 from some pictures I've been looking at.
My guess is that the Seamaster font is too fat if we compare it to some other examples on the web, but I may be wrong as I'm no expert in the chronostop series.
Any help from our experienced members?

    Thanks in advance.

Here I attach a comparison of what I believe it's an original dial (left) and the one that I think it's reprinted (right).
Maybe there were different printing styles?

This is a Geneve Chronostop dial from a 145.009, with "Geneve" cleaned off and re-printed with coathanger "Seamaster".
So it is completely a franken.

No I think the typo is off too. And that is not the only issue here: Chronostop date+inner bezel does not exist
(edit: already some reponses, I keep the info below for future search)

Here a quick explantion of what Chronostop exists and the case reference

Seamaster Chronostop was the first serie and it never had a date. But it always had qn inner bezel. It was either fixed (145.007) or rotating (145.008, extra crown at 10). Bezel could be differents (especially rotating ones, I think the fixed bezel is always a tachy but not 100% sure)
Also, it never existed as a "driver" watch

Second series was in the Geneve line. It lost the inner bezel, but it can have a date. It starts with 145 when no date, 146 with date. And normal wear ends with 009 while driver wear is 010. So, for example, 146.010 means "date, driver"

Then you have 2 other type of Chronostop. The Bullhead 146.011 which is a Seamaster, and the Fontana 146.012 which is round, "Dynamic-like" and is part of the Geneve family

A little bit late but i did some research, thinking about buying a 145.007.

During my research i stumbled across this Picture.

I hope it´s usefull it shows the different variations of the inner bezel.
