Hello all So I own an Omega PO 43.5 with the 8900 caliber. I don't mind (any more) the width of this watch, it sit very comfortably on the wrist and I actually love the feel of the metal substance on my wrist, but I was wondering if the extra width compare to the little brother 300m is in true correlation to the extra 300m water resistance or a way of design that show this watch can take extra beating as a tool watch? (there are more then few brands out there with even more water resistance that are less thicker) Same I can say on the thickness of the metal chains between these two. Thanks for any answers.. English as 2nd Languge
Most watches can take the same amount of beating. A dive watch that is 1000m is no more rugged to knocks and drops as a 200m dive watch. But it will handle a deeper depth. There is a good thread by @ulackfocus on this very question on a forum somewhere but just about to hit the sack so will look tomorrow ( or someone might know the one )
