Sometimes I feel this way too, But ultimately we're all here on a watch forum posting pictures of... our watches. The one primary thing that connects most members is an interest in... watches. So... is it thirsty, or is it the whole point?

No … not thirsty, a term I just recently learned. It’s about a moment IMO when the light is playing well off whatever you have and you are inspired to capture and share.
