I think that most people buying mass produced watches like the ones you mentioned, aren't mainly focusing on them as investments or assets. At least that's the way I feel about it, as do most of the collectors I know.
Well the 80% that do think of them as investments and assets that are lead by the YouTube and watch website bloggers are going to make anything new hard to buy in the future.
