·I'm mostly interested in 60's Speedmasters, but these rare Speedies are so cool I can never resist them. I now own two so am letting this very nice one go.
Omega Speedmaster Professional LCD quartz digital, also known as the Alaska IV.
Case reference 186.0004
Calibre 1620
Stainless steel bracelet 1305.741
Two spare bracelet links
Original red quartz box with cardboard outer sleeve (interior watch holder is missing.)
Guarantee booklet (booklet is from 1983 and for a quartz watch, but not for this actual watch.)
Full repair and service in 2020 by Peter Wenzig of digitalwatches.de, one of the worlds leading specialists for these watches, at a cost of 400 euros. Batteries where replaced at service.
Condition is very nice, I believe the case is unpolished and retains it's original finish and sharp lines, likewise the bracelet. It is a used, vintage watch so does have light marks to the case and bracelet and a few marks on the bezel insert, however the insert is solid and not cracked which is important given the lack of replacements. Having been service by a leading specialist it is currently working very well in all functions and keeping very accurate time.
Given the condition, rarity, service, box and steel bracelet, I think £2400 (net) is a fair price. U.K. postage is free or add £35 for worldwide delivery via DHL.
Many thanks.
