·He knows his stuff, certainly has a passion for whatever he is into, dives right in......Musician/songwriters do have the success he's had by not putting everything into it, and it looks like he has the same kind of passion for his watch collecting.

·Watched it the second I saw it was up. The first video of him with Ben in NYC had an immense impact on me with 'collecting'. His IWC video with Ben is also very good, even if you don't care for IWC.
John is not a phony, he gets it. It's not about the money, the flashiness. Thats why he and Ben have become good friends. Whenever a friend of mine asks my advice on buying a watch, I always tell them to go watch the John Mayer video that way they can approach buying a nice timepiece in a genuine way.
