Blancpain is Swatch Group. Hublot is LVMH. H x H sounds good.

My mistake. (I should have known better. I own a Fifty Fathoms).
So we can expect a Hublot x Dink sometime in the future.

That strap reminds me of my grandparents’ couch from the 70s.
I imagine it looked something more like this when you walked in at your grandparents' house (same fabric):

Aaron also made straps from a hat he got sent from someone that belonged to his grandfather, can't find it on his insta anymore though.

LVMH owns Zenith and major shareholder of Dink. These collabs are under one umbrella.

Zenith x Dink
Tag Heuer x Dink
Blancpain x Dink

and whatever else.

Interesting. Didn’t know LVMH was an investor in that

One of LVMH's fund is also involved in chrono24. (https://usa.watchpro.com/breaking-news-lvmh-vc-contributes-towards-e100-million-raise-for-chrono24/)
chrono24 supposedly also has the same parent company as fratellowatches ("MPN Marketplace Networks GmbH, the holding company that owns Chrono24, German pre-owned watch firm Zeitauktion and online watch magazine Fratello." https://www.watchpro.com/exclusive-xupes-signs-strategic-partnership-with-chrono24/)
Then hodinkee owns crown and caliber (https://www.forbes.com/sites/robert...-pre-owned-watch-specialists/?sh=65b4eb633362)
The digital watch world is a big web of relations.

Hello everyone,

Would love to hear your views on the new Hodinkee release. Its overall a typical hodinkee package. I believe there may be only 2 points worthy of discussion.

1- The dial - Everyone seems to be enamored by the dial. Is it just me who thinks it doesn't suit this watch? Maybe its because i think this whole salmon(ish) dial thing has been overdone a lot.

2- The date window - Does the color matching work? It doesn't for me and honestly i wish they had done away with it. But as with all things Hodinkee :
Current release -" Love it or hate it, the date window is one of the most useful features on any watch"
For their 2016 limited edition - "Oh, and did we mention this 38mm chronometer chronograph, with rich sunburst slate grey dial and faceted rhodium hands, does not feature a date window? You're welcome."

What do you guys think?

i love salmon dials. . and this one is terrible

intrigued by the chronomaster but the regular colorways are far better than this one
