Did I miss something? - Seamaster 300 165.024 -64 at auction

I also was watching at this auction, for another couple of lots I didn't win (did anyone get the nice blue dialed Driver Chronostop?). I was tempted to bid on this, but hadn't done my due diligence as I assumed it would go pretty high.

For a dash 64 watch? Can you tell us more? I know of the 165.024 -63 with that hands for the italian market, but they are found in a very narrow serial range.

+1 to this. 22,99x,xxx is a correct range for 165.024-64s and they were mostly produced in Q1 1966. The earliest -63 with the minute arrow hands found in the Italian market were made in Q1 1964. I can see that the condition of the hands are commensurate with the overall condition of the watch and if original this would be the first -64 with this hand set I have observed.

Regardless, this looks like a steal.
