I’ve been after an original solid gold Omega for a while. I wasn’t looking for a high end collector piece, just a solid original watch to use as a daily work watch. I recently won this and I’m excited to get it in

36mm (excluding the crown) solid 18k 351 bumper movement. Description says that it is running well
Case does show normal wear and movement can use a cleaning, but otherwise it’s exactly what I was after.

I won the auction at $699

Did I do decent ?

Thank you

Sorry, no you didn't.

Badly refinished dial, incorrect (not Omega) hands, ugly movement, I'll stop there.

Just trying to learn. What’s a watch like this worth? 500?

I will return this one and seek out advice prior to purchasing another

Thank you for the tips

Worth noting, maybe the scrap value of it’s weight in gold.
Good luck, bumpers are really nice!

With next one check that markers are properly alligned. Main marker "3" must be alligned with center of the crown. Inner markers must be alligned with main ones, look at yours at "9"...
