    Good day members.

I have been looking at this vintage Longines 18K automatic cal 290 with serial number that dates it to 1960.
The reference number (from the inside caseback stamp) is 7004 6.

To me the things that are going for it are:

Dial looks original (although some patina is visible)
    Hands look original
    Case doesn't look badly polished
Movement condition is good although it looks like a service is needed (ie dirty)

Things that are not going for it:
I cant see "Swiss Made" text from the photos but will ask the seller to confirm.

Some rotor rubbing (from pic of inside caseback)

Price is high even for a 18K case :
$1279 but I would make an offer of 10% discount equating to $1150.

    Have I missed anything?
Is the price too high for this piece in its condition?

The watch looks correct, except for the crown, but the price is too high for me. With a little patience I think you could find something more interesting for a better price.

For that price (even with a 10% discount), it needs to be in perfect condition. This example is nowhere near perfect.

My guess is that gold melt value of the case is between $400 and $500. The movement in dirty unserviced condition is another $100, less the $30 to $40 for a proper crown.

Top price from me would be around $550 for this watch. About half of OP’s offer.
