Both are real and both look to have original dials but the manual wind one has a movement (and poss dial) made about 15 years before the case it seems. 2 of your pics have uploaded in too small resolution to view, maybe try those again as the movement in the auto would be good to see.

They're both real, so that's a great start! Textured dials with pink gold furniture are generally worth a bonus point or two....but of course the price is key as to whether or not you did well....?

519€ for the automatic with 344 bumper movement, 399€ for the manual wind with 265 movement.

Interesting caseback, I wonder where the seller found that, I've not seen that before on anything other than Speedies and those are a different size presumably. The problem there is that you can't now confirm the model number (unless they included the original back that is). It's a nice looking thing, the serial dates it to around 1952-3. They are both nice with interesting dials and weren't silly money but collectors would maybe be a bit sniffy about originality.

Yeah, I wouldn't say you've done really bad, but not really good either, as @padders says above your movement doesn't correlate date wise with your case back of the manual wind watch...so basically it's a Franken. Then the other one doesn't have a case back, so actually an incomplete watch with a funky display back.

The proof of whether you did alright or not will really be decided when you come to sell them!

As long as you're happy with what you got, you did well. Those are some nice dials, and the feeling of a bumper watch is always cool! Interesting caseback, I would like to find something like that for some naked movements.

Someone put these together from parts, perhaps to make use of movements that had been orphaned after scrapping gold cases. I would be curious to see how the seller described these on eBay. If they were described as original, for example, you would definitely have grounds for return.

The case is definitely not silver. Its steel.

With the age of them it's understandable for a replacement part here and there. Myself and many of my friends are about the same age and have replacement hips, knees, as well as screws and bailing wire holding us together.

I'm not talking about replacement parts, I'm talking about watches assembled from parts. More like Frankenstein's monster than someone with a hip replacement. If you're happy with them, that's fine. I'm just trying to answer your OP question, because the watches are not "real," IMO.

The dials are cool. The price is not terrible for watches to wear around. But it does have a raid the parts bin feel to it.

Would many (most) collectors want these, probably not, would many (most) long time forum members have advised you to not purchase these watches, yes. If you like them great.
