The dials appear identical but are not. The 145.022-68 is designed for the 861 movement and has shorter, thinner feet than the 321 caliber 145.012-67 dial. They are not, without adjustement, interchangeable.
I am reviving this old thread because the dial was taken out of the watch and replaced with a painted logo dial. But the mystery remains for the dial has its original feet and they are for a 321 movement. The T’s are closed. The step is very light to inexistant. It is a Singer dial. What is this dial, what Speedmaster did it start its life in ? This whole thing has been going on for five years, please can some expert resolve the mystery. Kind regards. Mounir
That's a strange dial with such a small step. The feet notwithstanding, the close Ts, applied logo, Pro script etc put it late 63 to early 66.
For reference, 321 service dial feet: 861 transitional dial feet: Dial shown above has 861 feet, not 321. Cheers, Al
Nice thread. Love the older raised logo, big S and R on Speedmaster with Professional designation dial. Does any 861 /1861 came with that style of dial? I know the ST1 reverse panda has those attributes and the Replica dial (3594) has the raised logo and big S and R, but no professional wording
