True...there're all sorts of watch foes near and around that desk...possibly more than the average desk. The most apparent watch foe in that pic is the white flap handle...which is in the way of the key pad.

As a Speedmaster owner I think you should be more worried about any lever labelled "Speed Brake"...sounds too much like break to me.

I put some scratches on my SMP 300m clasp while new (one of my jeweler friends chastised me!) and I finally picked up a leather passport holder and use it on the left hand corner of my laptops. But that didn't stop me from forgetting what I was wearing when I went out to trim the trees and cut the lawn. Which is exactly why I buy sturdy watches, cuz I never know what I will do next. Just a dufus sometimes.
