Deployant users! What did you replace factory leather with?

I have a pair of Luchesse boots in chocolate ostrich leg - it’s a beautiful and unusual leather. Will get a Genteel strap in ostrich leg to match one of these days.

I think the ostrich leg on the genteel site looks stunning, in any colour. I'm leaning very heavily in that direction.

Meanwhile, it looks like delivery of my tropic strap is due today, and my O-mee-gah deployant is delayed until who knows when... grr.. I was anxious to try it on the deployant.

I may end up spreading the wealth and getting a stingray for my oris from combat, and the ostrich leg from genteel...

I would need to get another deployant for the Oris...

But I think I'll need to buy another watch so I can get the beaver from combat. then I need a deployant for that.

I just emailed combat straps about ordering a stingray…. I was really liking the ostrich leg and beaver, but the stringray stands out even more.

in the meantime my tropic strap from uncle seiko and oh-me-gah deployant have arrived, so I think I’m done for rubber straps.

I bought the older style deployant clasp and then had Strap A Watch make me a alligator strap like the OEM. But his was custom made to my wrist for less money. Can't recommend him enough!

I bought my Speedmaster on the bracelet but always wanted an alligator deployment. I like the contrast of Black with white stitching. Got one from Genteel handmade which arrived today. I REALLY like it.

My last Genteel strap was a small grain green alligator with orange stitching for my Ultraman, super quality as usual. You can't go wrong with George, an almost unlimited combinations of leathers, colors, threads, linings, sizes. Hard to capture the green color with my camera.

Agree with all the above, can’t go wrong with Genteel.

I will also recommend Delugs, lots of different leathers to choose from and cheaper too and comes with quick release spring bars as standard (can be changed).

Also found it easy to specify the exact dimensions all through their website.

I have a Himalayan Croc leather band from Genteel Handmade on my deployant.
George does amazing work with leather!

that combo is superb. Never really looked into light coloured leather straps before, definitely going to now.

I am considering the new Aqua Terra but just find out they come either in bracelet or rubber band, but Omega DOES NOT sell the rubber band by itself. Why would they do that? I am certainly not going to have two Aqua Terra just to have one in bracelet and one in rubber. I heard from YouTube that Omega is going what Rolex does, and force you to purchase more of the same.
