·Kat, if you ever have tasty treats you should let us know. I'd say it's okay to link to your auctions in our Sales Forum, or better yet try a private listing here before you put any watch on eBay. Doesn't matter what brand either - we have lots of brand diversity amongst our member's collections.

·What will be really interesting is that in a few weeks when it gets serviced, there's a good chance its brother will be getting touched up in the same shop, which will be the first time they've seen eachother since leaving Bienne, Switzerland 60 years ago, and the first time two of them have been photographed together.
That would be a good idea. Let me know when it's stateside so I can get that shot. It might be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

·The story on this watch would make Reuben Canales so happy. He loved watches and it should be known this wasnt my watch, just the researcher here. This watch was collected by a man who had an incredible eye for collectables and did it for a living. He contracted Polio as a child and spent his childhood in hospitals. As an adult he collected very fine pieces. Watches, coins, and he loved baseball cards. This is so great it is going somewhere that would make him happy!!!!

·Respectable member Dsio, sorry for dropping in late to the discussion. A friend just sent me the link to the discussion. I was actually the second highest bidder on that auction. I placed my crazy bid (that is how I called when I was placing it) cause really wanted this forbiden fruit for my collection. Its odd that it was between the two of us at the end. If it had not been that way either of us would have been high bidders @ $3438. That would have made my day 🙄... Nice to see a true Omega fan got it at the end. Wear it in good health mate
