Interesting to see where it goes. Seller wants 5-10k for the watch which at least IMHO too high. We have 2 reasonable comparables on ebay - the 4k for the cartouche black dial SM cal. 352 and the 6k or so for the hooded lugs NM pink gold cal. 354 with textured dial and solid gold bracelet (which would mean 4-4.5k head only). At least in my opinion, these 2 pieces are rarer and more valuable than this one but that's strictly my opinion. Granted this is a nice piece but even NM cal. 321 speedmasters sit on ebay for awhile if the price is too high so at the right price, this will make a good addition to a vintage omega collection. But if the auction goes to completion without the almost ubiquitous shill bidders then we will all end up a bit more enlightened.

Wanted to add - the condition of the watch isn't great - dial nice, hands wrong, movement has wear and case has wear too. These have to be factored in (at least if you were being judicious with your money!)

My prediction is someone will make Kathleen the proverbial "offer you can't refuse", and we'll never know the true selling price. 🤔

That's where we have the advantage. She got her info from here, and Ashley has a conversation going with her. If it sells privately I'd hope she'd give us the amount because we'd all like that for our records.

I just hope it goes to a collector here so I get to see it after its been serviced and cleaned up in WRUW threads =D

Such a beauty will surely go to a good home. I am sure, sooner or later the bidders will come in. Such a spectacular time-piece will attract those who want to keep something that is so special, amongst their collections.

At around $2 000.00 for such a piece, definitely there will be a bus-load of people, dying for it.

Hello all, it was great to find so many Omega lovers about. About the listing: I usually dont pimp out my watches on forums but this watch is an exception. I know it needs to have some work done and I am not out to make a killing, I really want the watch to go to someone who loves Omega's. I have had private bids up to 3800 from a bidder. I am not wanting a certain amount, someone suggested it may go between 5-10k. Most my auctions go to a bidding frenzie right before they end. If the watch sells and anyone knows the buyer as shady please let me know and I will pull it. I really do want this watch to be taken of and treasured.

Thanks to all who had info about this model and who took time to post about it, and yes, if someone is quoting you, even on Ebay, you must be famous!

You still need to get your husband to post pics of his other ones, even if they're not for sale, pictures of cool watches belong on the internet.

I fixed the listing to except Australia but couldnt find the Ebay button for adding: a night of passionate love-making with a large Australian man with an unbelievably attractive accent and impeccable manners. I am going to assume if you win, this comes with the bid? lol

Jumped from $2025 to $4497 in the last 20 seconds. Somebody got a new centerpiece for their collection for a damn good price.

I gave myself a heart attack and nearly died, I hit an extra zero so instead of what I intended to bid it was err... several 10s of thousands more as my max. Came in /just/ under my limit.
