Debating on purchasing the Speedy today

Well, ironically I decided to purchase everything but the Speedy and now there's rumors of it being discontinued and changed.. and the price being driven up by a different movement.

I always thought this one would be around and readily available for purchase and now I'm panicking to get one. Going to stop by Omega boutique today and possibly pick one up. I asked for discounts and they obliged - not sure how much they'll take off.. any guesses? Other ADs said they're not discounting given the nature of the situation.

I waited too long.. was offered 20% off last November on the hesalite.

I waited and waited and it’s risen like crazy here in Brazil (mostly due to currency losing its value against USD), and I made the purchase of the hesalite version just two days ago (won’t arrive until end of the month) just before yet another price readjustment.
I’ve loved this watch ever since I saw it over two years ago, but it was just about to get out of my budget for new watches and I had to pull the trigger, before it was too late

My perception is now is a great time to pick one up before 1). The new movement and 2). Snoopy release. Those who are either 1). Confirmed on the waitlist and are excited to be getting a snoopy but don’t have a normal moonwatch mah be very excited and go get the last ones that are available with 1861/1863. And 2). Those who aren’t able to get on a waitlist may feel bummed and in turn get excited to at least get this amazing one 😀 Your discount will depend on if you go OB or AD 😀 OB have guidelines I believe they must follow and AD is more flexible 😀 I would check out going rates on various online platforms to get an idea of a fair price 😀 Good luck!

Congrats! Great purchase. Timeless.

Absolutely. Gray market is now only several hundred below AD so prices seem to be climbing, correct me if I'm wrong. My friend purchased a gray several years back for 3,500, it's now 4,500.

I pulled the trigger and picked one up today!

It's been a long wait for what I consider one of the most interesting and beautiful pieces on the market.

Took me a while 😀

I must say I was worried about the size and how it would wear but it's very nice on the wrist.
