In a similar vein, ebay sellers who say, "One of a kind, I haven't been able to find any like it."

Yeah... it's a redial buddy.

Dude, don't you know a "prototype" when you see one? 😜

Dear eBay sellers stop listing your “bidders” as “private”.

What, and get caught shilling? 😁

Dear eBay sellers, stop listing all of your watches as recently serviced!

Recent in what terminology - glacial? Galactic? 😜

Dear eBay sellers, how many 'Retired Omega Employees' do you have cleaning and servicing for you?

Haha this guy cracks me up.

What's his main spiel? Something like, "serviced and restored by a retired Omega employee using the best tools and equipment". Then shows pics, invariably a black redial, but he never specifically admits that it's a redial.

Thats the one 😁😁 and always with "the dial in very good condition and totally original" 🤦

"Perfect dial, professionally restored"

"Beautiful case, expertly polished"

"Everything functioning well" (next to picture with chrono creep)

Seen these too many times to count 🤦

Wearing white gloves in photos like it's a museum piece.

They do that in certain watch meets...

Ah another thing I can think of: "Triple/4x/5x Signed"

I really need to know that everything has a logo for your overinflated price :x

low res photos shot from 3 metres away in the dark so it's 15 seconds before you realise there's a watch there somewhere

"Beautiful case, expertly polished"
Saw this at the bottom of a listing "this watch will be professionally polished before shipping" 🤨

Dear eBay sellers, stop shill bidding your POS redials so they appear to be the most bidded on items (yes, I mean you, montre48).

What grinds your gears? 🍿
At least he always takes the same pictures (with the out of focus stone background). That makes it easy to recognize his listings and skip them. I really dislike that guy. I don't even look anymore.

Sellers from India are bad about that too.

When I browse Longines I don't want to see the listings cluttered with Wittnauer watch models. Same goes for the Rolex listings which are liberally sprinkled with Tudor watch models.

Your average watch is not worth as much as the overpriced one in excellent condition that you saw when you searched EBay to do your pricing.

Stop using the term "poor mans Heuer"

I've noticed recently the term "like NOS" is getting a lot of usage now. ::facepalm1::

Or it’s variant. “NOS with tropical dial”. Huh?

Take better pics

I have found, almost without exception...there is a reason for lousy pics....and its not because they don't know how to take a picture.
