Funny how things often times all comes at the same time. I've bought and sold stuff for a long time. It's how I get money for cars, watches, motorcycles etc without my wife ever saying a word.

Anyway, I heard a local dealer in antiques was going out of business and I thought I would stop by his place today. There on the wall is an Omega dealer clock. The Chancellor Hotel was a local hotel built in 1901 and torn down in 1977. Buttermore's was a jewelers across the street that I understand had a small boutique store in the hotel. It was one of the big grand hotels common in many downtowns.

There was a walkway under the street that they would carry the jewelry from one store to the other. Anyway, I decided I needed it. It lights up and works great. I'm guessing 1960's.

Of course you realize as Dennis says, that clock could
have been worth close to:

One Miillliion dollars to the right collector.

Yes, but I'm sort of glad it's staying local and will be on display to the public. The collector said he knew nothing about Omega but was just buying it as he knows the Buttermore's and the Chancellor tie in.
