This is the second pic I took of the DSOTM . A little closer but not much better. iPhone 4 is a mess. The hour/minute sub dail actually shows how long the darkside is on my service .

Congratulations. Magnificent piece and true first among all members here. 👍

Your wish is my order.

Wow...Just Wow...

I am so envious... great photos of an incredible piece...you really captured the shine of the dial...just like the LM...but with texture from the subdials...

I'd love to see it on an Omega curved ended croc-strap

I'm am starting to second guess myself..

Congratulations...you will not grow tired of looking at that one...maybe put it away when driving...

You needn't be afraid, I can't fetch the sun while driving my car.

Superb piece. Very wise decision to get it sooner than later.........

You are right. I has been a real pleasure visiting "my" boutique. The store manager didn't even see the modified darkside before. So he was really interested what the watch artist changed.

Do you mean there is modification from prototype to production of DSOTM? Do you mind to elaborate?

I don't mind at all. Why should I?

About 3 month ago, when I ordered the dark side, the store manager mentioned that the decision wether the bezel will be produced shiny or not still wasn't made. ( You might ask superdoc about to look of the watch. He had the occasion to hold it in his hands, I missed the chance in august. )
Beside of this the way the strap will look like has been the BIG ? As you can see on my pics, there's rubber fixed on the cordura straps. I was told that the swiss guys were afraid the buckle might damage the straps. So they covered this part with rubber.
That's the little secret as was told.😉

that rubber was the first thing I noticed ......
not on the prototype.
I love the box too...

I think I can let everyone in on another Big
secret...
the other big prototype I have seen had that rubber band protector ...
but on a grey croc strap...
attached to a GREY dark side of the moon..
(Basel 2014)...another stunner of possibly more unique beauty...(although I think I still prefer black)...

Grey is OK.... make it blue or dark blue then we have a potential winner.

Congratulations to one of the first owners of the DSOTM watch. I placed my deposit back at the end of April and was told that it would probably not be with me this side of xmas !. Really envious lol

Thanks, alot.
Concerning a deposit I was a lucky guy. I needn't place a deposit when I ordered it. Three weeks ago, the watch allready reached the boutique, they asked for some €.
But the very best of this bargain is the fact that my wife loves the dark side too!!!
