Well...I'm officially on the wait list... Estimated arrival Jan/Feb/Mar.. But, one of those first will be mine. Any one else commit?.. I know a lot of people are griping about the price, but honestly - it is very reasonably priced in my opinion... I can't wait for this one to arrive!
I'm very, very tempted... like extremely tempted... but haven't yet. Its a brilliant, brilliant watch.
I was told that my dark side is supposed to reach my Omega store in autumn. Hopefully. But I fear that this year's autumn will turn into winter.
....is it true? are you going to have access??? - can I give you a deposit instead???....may leave me with cash for a SMP-c blue ( one that I've wanted but couldn't justify given that I have a SMP bond....but...a deal through Kringkily would be like finding money on the street ) and when finding money...you're supposed to spend it on a watch..isn't that WJWD?
WLWD - What Lou Would Do. It's one of his axioms of watch collecting: "Watch money must not go unspent."
I would absolutely love one of these, but I don't think I can convince the wife to let me spend that much...despite spending $20K on our last two vacations...this year.
Yeah, take a look at the black dialed Ladymatic. http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/de-ville/ladymatic/presentation/de-ville-ladymatic She'll dig one of those.
She has a diamond dial AT and a gold Rolex...although she did say she wants a diamond dial/bezel AT. I don't think getting her something will make her ok with me getting a DSOTM. She'll just think of it as two other vacations! I wanted to pick up a GMT and she squashed that dream! The only thing she said that's a glimmer of hope is she's planning on getting me a submariner for a wedding gift (not officially married yet). Maybe I can convince her to get me the DSOTM instead!
Companies typically don't like to discount and if has made it more strict on the amount. The practice of grey market selling by AD is their own choice not Omega's.
I think the new speed master darkside of the moon is a killer watch, I decided not to wait and pull the trigger on a regular co-axial speedie. But if i were to buy a ceramic watch, the darkside would probably be it!
