Mine landed a few weeks ago and it's A-mazing. My only complaint is the lack of a deployant strap option. I've been going back and forth with Jean Rosseau in an attempt to have a replica of the factory strap made, but for use with a deployant. No luck yet, but fingers crossed and I'm holding my breath.

I'm wearing it on a black NATO in the interim. As much as I liked the PCA GSotM, I LOVE this Apollo 8...

Please keep up posted on the strap for a deployant clasp! Maybe we can do a group buy!

Shoot I'd be happy if JR would agree to do one, but I'll see what I can get from them.

My original tang buckle strap sits all forlorn and never worn (pics attached), but that may change if JR won't provide what I'm looking for.

Just got the call from my dealer here in Germany that my Apollo 8 has arrived. Now the wait has come to an end. Allegedly, only a few have been delivered here in Germany. Which would also confirm the statement of Omega, that so far only a few % of the orders of 2018 were supplied. It will be delivered on Thursday and I am looking forward to it.

They’re everywhere now in the UK. Many of the AD’s have them!

My local AD has one of these sitting in their case. Tried it on and loved it, just didn't have anymore watch budget for 2019. Were these all spoken for (i.e. I was trying on someone's watch) or is it possible my AD in New Hampshire has one available to the public?

I don't believe they are all spoken for at this point. Such a lovely piece. I'm pretty happy it isn't a limited edition. I woulda loved a deployant strap option from the factory.

I do not know what the situation is with the dealers here in Germany. 😕
Supposedly only a handful have gone to the market here. Boutiques excepted.
Was it possible for you to get a discount on this watch? Or did you get something else?😕

Discount has been offered at my local AD, they said they couldn’t do a lot (but any reduction on RRP is still a discount)

I’ve not heard back from either of my local ADs about the Apollo 8 being in store yet. Perhaps soon!

Just picked up today. Have been back and forth since I first tried on. Pulled trigger today. Have to say, it’s lovely in the metal (or ceramic). So light and the detail is fantastic. Is bigger than I would usually wear, but I just about pull it off. It’s lovely and the way the light catches the details on the watch can’t be caught on photos.

What really makes this for me is the relative thinness of the watch with the manual movement. I’m in shirt and tie today and it has no issues slipping under the cuff.

No discount, but a dark side of the moon buckle strap chucked in (they wanted £350 to add the deployant) and a carry case/pouch.

Congratulations! It looks fantastic. Kudos!

If anyone is looking for an Apollo 8 they may have it available at the Las Vegas OB. They reached out to me two days ago and said they had one in stock, but I passed.

Hi all

I think this is a really nice watch so had a quick look at how much they were selling for on Chrono 24 much to my surprise there is one for sale by a private seller from the UK for £17,000 nearly twice as much as most of them are. I know they are nice and hard to come by but that did shock me I wonder if he will get anywhere near his asking price so soon after release.

I doubt it, if your patient you should be able to get one from an AD, some have mentioned a 10% discount too.
